It seemed apt yesterday morning when I woke up to Bowie's new single and the first line was, 'Had to get the train from Potzdamer Platz...' One of my favourite artists paying tribute to what is now quickly becoming one of my favourite cities. I spent Christmas in Berlin and even in minus 3 degrees, this city had such beauty, character and history that it was a joy to photograph. We were supposed to go to Morocco but passport problems meant that we spent the festive period in polar opposite Berlin. One of those moments in life when you realise that maybe this was just where we were meant to be.
