As the festive season draws to a close and we begin dragging ourselves out of bed on these cold dark mornings to start the new year, I've been reflecting on the past two weeks. The Christmas break has been filled with mince pies, turkey, chocolate, cider, crackers, pigs in blankets, presents, decorations, friends, family and the most welcome break in the history of man.
